Comfortable, responsible and sustainable workwear at Verbo Group

Comfortable, responsible and sustainable workwear at Verbo Group

At Verbo Group , we believe that every step counts in the transition to a sustainable future. Whether it's reducing waste, deploying renewable energy or making conscious choices in our business operations – sustainability is a process of continuous improvement.

One of these steps is sustainable workwear for our employees in production and the warehouse. In collaboration with Goodfuture Fair Workwear,  we have  purchased 800 jackets, sweaters and sweaters, specially designed with people and the environment in mind.

We have chosen the Dutch brand T'riffic, which stands for truly circular workwear. All clothing is made from 100% recycled raw materials, making a direct contribution to a more sustainable textile industry.

In addition, T'riffic is committed to fair and responsible production. With an impressive score of 8.8 on working conditions, the brand has  achieved Leader status within the Fair Wear Foundation. This means that the clothing is not only sustainable, but is also produced under fair working conditions.

Goodfuture is the specialist in sustainable and circular workwear. They only work with honest, environmentally friendly materials such as recycled polyester, organic cotton, bamboo and Tencel. In addition, through collaborations with certified partners and the Fair Wear Foundation, they guarantee  better working conditions and fair wages in the textile industry.

Another important aspect is circularity. Goodfuture offers a return logistics program, in which worn clothing is collected and processed into new raw materials. In this way, textiles do not end up in the waste heap unnecessarily, but are given a new life.

More than just sustainable workwear

This decision is not an isolated one. Within our Professional Waste Solution (PWS) program, we are structurally working on ways to reduce waste and use raw materials smarter. Our focus is on reuse, efficiency and minimizing our carbon footprint.

For example, solar panels on our roof provide us with sustainable energy and our employees drive through the warehouse with electric forklifts —quiet, emission-free and efficient. In addition, 50% of the plastic from our own waste streams is reused , so we actively contribute to a closed loop.

Building a circular future together

Sustainability is not something that is done alone. It requires conscious choices, innovative collaborations and a shared vision of the future. With our workwear we show once again that we take responsibility as a company. A simple, yet important step towards a world with less waste and more reuse.

Together we make the difference. 💚
